(AP) -- The four police officers who shot and killed two people inside a vehicle during a gunfight in a convenience store parking lot didn't realize there was an infant in the back seat of the car until after the gunfire stopped, police said Tuesday.

Homeless Youth In Dallas County Are Largely Female, African-American, New Survey Shows In years past, the  Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance  and its partners set up outposts hoping homeless youth would come to them. This year, they decided that process  needed to be reversed . Outreach workers spent six days in January counting the number of 12-to-24 year olds in Dallas County who didn’t have a stable place to live. They ultimately found 179 people in the county’s first-ever homeless youth survey.

Lamar's "DAMN" was announced as the recipient of the prestigious award on Monday, a history-making first for a rap artist, as the music award is typically given to classical or jazz works. Black Men Arrested At Starbucks Agree To Meet With CEO Starbucks says the two men who were arrested at one of its Philadelphia locations earlier this month have  agreed to meet  with its CEO.  This news came after the CEO himself, Kevin Johnson,  appeared on  "Good Morning America" Monday to talk about the controversial arrests.  "I personally apologize to the two gentlemen that visited our store. ... There are some scenarios where the police should be called — if there's threats or a disturbance, those might be appropriate times. In this case, none of that occurred. It was completely inappropriate to engage the police," Johnson said.
