Hate Crimes Increase for the Third Consecutive Year, F.B.I. Reports
Black people accounted for nearly half of hate crime victims last year, according to the F.B.I. report. Of those targeted based on religion, 58 percent were Jewish.

The requirement is that the particular photographs themselves are sufficiently famous to warrant an article – the fame of the person or event is not in itself enough. Sometimes the articles are about the person rather than the photograph taken of them but this is normally where they would probably not have become notable except for the image. Some of the photographs are of staged situations that did not actually take place at all.
