Manhunt launched after two white men attack black woman at Walmart for ‘no apparent reason’ Social media users identified two white men accused of racially harassing a black woman while shopping at a Wal-Mart store in Louisiana. The two men — identified as 22-year-old Dylan Reynolds and 24-year-old Michael Walters — are wanted on hate crime charges in the Nov. 29 incident the West Monroe store, reported the News Star. The woman fled in her vehicle, and one of the men chased her on foot while pushing an empty shopping cart — which he “violently” pushed into the rear of her vehicle when she slowed down for a speed bump. 9-year-old dies by suicide after racist taunts and bullying her family says The family of an Alabama girl who died Dec. 3 said she committed suicide after being bullied with racist taunts. Police in the family's hometown of Linden said they are still investigating the death of 9-year-old McKenzie Nicole Adams and that there are conflicting reports of what happened leading up to it. Police also said they have not seen any reports that McKenzie was being bullied. Adams' aunt, Eddwina Harris, told the Tuscaloosa News that the alleged bullying her niece experienced at U.S. Jones Elementary School in Demopolis stemmed from her friendship with a boy at her school. “She was being bullied the entire school year, with words such as ‘kill yourself,’ ‘you think you’re white because you ride with that white boy,’ ‘you ugly,’ ‘black b----,’ ‘just die’,” Harris told the paper . 'Racism exists at all levels' of Thunder Bay, Ont., police service, review finds Police investigations into the deaths of nine Indigenous people in Thunder Bay, Ont., were so problematic that they should be re investigated, an independent review released Wednesday recommends. The recommendation by Ontario's police watchdog is one of 44 in  a report  that concludes the city's police service is rife with racism and racist attitudes. "The failure to conduct adequate investigations and the premature conclusions drawn in these cases is, at least in part, attributable to racist attitudes and racial stereotyping," the report finds. "Officers repeatedly relied on generalized notions about how Indigenous people likely came to their deaths and acted, or refrained from acting, based on those biases."
