The Briscoe Center at the University of Texas at Austin has acquired the photographic archive of Stephen Shames, who is best known for his role as the Black Panther Party’s photographer between 1967 and 1973.

49ers cheerleader kneels again during anthem before 'Monday Night Football' On Nov. 1, a San Francisco 49ers cheerleader  took a knee during the national anthem ahead of the team’s Thursday night matchup with the Oakland Raiders. Bill Cosby guilty on all three counts in indecent assault trial, jury decides The jury in Bill Cosby's retrial found the TV icon guilty of all three counts of aggravated indecent assault on Thursday   for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in a Philadelphia suburb in 2004. The 80-year-old comedian faces up to 10 years in prison on each count, but would likely serve them concurrently.
