Cannon Hinnant, 5, was struck in the head at point-blank range on Aug. 9 while riding his bicycle with his siblings outside their home. A 25-year-old neighbor, who had spent time with Hinnant’s father on the family’s porch the day before, was arrested and is facing a first-degree murder charge.
