Black Lives Matter Los Angeles identified the man as Dijon Kizzee and called supporters to the scene to protest against the killing. A Black man who allegedly punched a deputy and “produced a handgun” was shot and killed by deputies Monday afternoon in the unincorporated Westmont area near South Los Angeles. unitedwewoke_ #dijonkizzee was stopped on a bicycle for code violations when he took off running in South LA today. Deputies later caught up with him and he was carrying a bundle of clothes. The LA County sheriffs alleged a gun dropped from the clothes and they shot him 27 times. They also alleged he punched an officer but guess what, they don’t have body cams.
