@ukteachantiracism A lot of people have condemned Meghan and Harry (the Duke and Duchess) for speaking up about the hardships they endured as members of the royal family. There has been vast amount of people attempting to deny racism within the royal family. It’s one thing to argue that that members of the royal family themselves are not racist and believe in racial equality. But many right wingers are attempting to push a narrative that the royal family could not ever be racist as the Queen is the head of the commonwealth and she, herself and other members of the royal family have visited former colonies is beyond insulting. Sometimes you have to question whether these people are so uneducated they that they are unaware that colonialism was racist and did create and sustain a majority of the racism that can be found within those colonies and in our own country today. Or you question is their attempt of riling up white supremacy within the country or is this their way of painting the royal family as white savourists. But in regards to @nigel_farage specifically who dared open his mouth to say “no one in the world, in history, has done more for people of colour than the British royal family”. Before WW1, 1/5th of the world’s entire population were British subjects. Since then the U.K. gave independence to 62 colonies. 48 of which to whom Queen Elizabeth II was party. And let’s no pretend that every one of those countries received their independence freely. No one has done more for people of colour than people of colour. People of colour have been their own advocates time and time again and fortunately there are wonderful allies who also advocate for racial equality. But please do not negate and minimise the role people of colour play in their own lives and in their own history. #ukteachantiracism #racism #ukisnotinnocent #harryandmeghan #rightwing #nigelfarage #royalfamily #colonialism #tyt #theyoungturks #love #hate #peopleofcolour #bame #whitesavior #uk #poc #explorepage https://www.whytheracecardisplayed.com/
Brian (Waterhead Bo) Bennett So who was the biggest black kingpin of all time? Just how do you measure that? Money, volume of dope, power, cultural impact? Perhaps it was Frank Matthews… you can learn more about him in my documentary “The Frank Matthews Story” link. But in terms of documented transactions that we know about for sure, who was convicted in court: One man stands alone. Brian “Waterhead Bo” Bennett. Bennett and his Colombian Partner, Mario Villabona, were eventually convicted of moving nearly l5 thousand kilos that they talked about on certain wiretaps between December of 1987 and November of 1988. Some of the loads were as large as 1000 kilos and cheaper than $9,000 dollars each wholesale. That’s 1500 keys a month for nearly a year. And that’s just on the wiretapped phones. Who knows how much he really sold in total. Claims are made about this one and that one selling more, but 15,000 keys sold for sure is the most we know about for any black dealer. Waterhead B...
