Eric Reid has his grievance against Bengals denied

The grievance that Panthers safety Eric Reid filed against the Bengals for not signing him earlier this year has been denied by the arbitrator. Arbitrator Shyam Das ruled the Bengals were within their rights to ask Reid if he was going to continue kneeling during playing of the national anthem, the sources said. . . Eventually, Reid signed with the Panthers on a one-year, $1.39 million deal. Carolina’s front office reportedly did not ask Reid about whether or not he planned to continue protesting before signing him. #nfl pantherswire.usatoday.com

After that year, data is available for "black alone" and "black alone or in combination." We used the data for "black alone or in combination" for the period in which it is available.)
