Family of Kimani Gray, teen shot and killed by NYPD cops who thought he had a gun, reaches $250G settlement
The family of Kimani Gray, a 16-year-old boy who was shot and killed five years ago by cops in Brooklyn who thought he had a gun, has agreed to a $250,000 settlement from the city.
Gray, who was with several friends, was shot not far from his home in East Flatbush by two plainclothes cops who said he was reaching in his waistband when they sought to question him.
