Jewish man beaten with a brick in Brooklyn for no other reason than him being Jewish
A vicious assault and robbery in Crown Heights last week was caught on camera, police seeking help in identifying the attacker.

An early morning armed robbery and assault which occurred last week in Crown Heights was caught on surveillance camera.
The perpetrator is still being sought in connection with the robbery which took place at 4:30 am last Friday in the lobby of the apartment building at 701 Empire Boulevard between Albany and Troy Avenues.
Shmira volunteers and police spent hours obtaining footage and are working hard to identify the attacker.
In the footage, the attacker is seen approaching the 35-year-old Chassidic man from behind, and viciously punching and kicking the victim, throwing him to the ground.
The perpetrator fled on Empire Blvd towards Albany Avenue. He is then believed to have turned right onto Albany Avenue and then make a left onto Montgomery Street, towards Kingston Ave.
After hanging around for a few minutes, he made a u-turn and then went back onto Albany Ave towards Crown Street. He then turned left on Crown Street, and a few minutes later made a u-turn again and headed for Troy Ave.
The victim's family is requesting residents in that vicinity to check their security cameras and to notify Shmira at 718-221-0303 if anything is noticed.
