Miami Dolphins Writer: 'I'd Rather Have Satan at QB' Than Colin Kaepernick
Miami Dolphins beat writer Armando Salguero said he would rather see Satan as the Dolphins' next quarterback instead of Colin Kaepernick, the former QB for the 49ers and a left-wing political activist. 
Salguero, who is a columnist for the Miami Herald, made his remark in a Jan. 15 tweet. When asked what he thought of Kaepernick as a "stop gap" player "until next year's draft," Salguero tweeted, "I'd rather have Satan at QB."

In a later tweet, Salguero, who is Cuban, explained that he has no respect for Kaepernick who has worn a shirt at press conferences with the image of former Communist dictator Fidel Castro, whose regime murdered at least 73,000 people for political reasons. 
"In case you are not aware, I have no love for Kap," tweeted Salguero.  "Don't agree with him. Don't respect him. If that bothers you, so be it. I will not be silenced."
Salguero linked to one of his Miami Herald columns (Nov. 25, 2016), which had the headline, "Unrepentant hypocrite Colin Kaepernick defends Fidel Castro."
Salguero and his mother fled Communist Cuba in 1967. His father joined them in Miami three years later.

After a brief interview with Kaepernick about Cuba several years ago, Salguero wrote, "I was stunned how someone so outspoken about his beliefs could be so ignorant to facts not up for debate" about the Castro regime. "All he did was expose himself as a fraud."
