THE KAEPERNICK 4

THE KAEPERNICK 4
Uh, U.N.I.T.Y., U.N.I.T.Y. that's a unity
U.N.I.T.Y., love a black man from infinity to infinity

For those of you who are too young to remember this bar, it comes straight from the mouth of our big sis Queen Latifah.

This song dropped way back in 93'. So i ask you all these years later. Have we followed her example?

How bout this one?

Ignorance of each other is what has made unity impossible in the past. Therefore we need enlightenment. We need more light about each other. Light creates understanding, understanding creates love, love creates patience, and patience creates unity. Once we have more knowledge (light) about each other, we will stop condemning each other and a United front will be brought about.
-Malcolm X

Can't argue with brother Malcolm bout that. Can you? What would he think of african american unity today?

Lets try one more.

"Unity to be real must stand the severest strain without breaking."
-Mahatma Gandhi

My man Gandhi. You know I've never heard of him being wrong about anything? Pretty wild huh?

Ive written my thoughts on Travis Scott choosing to perform in this years 53rd. Superbowl. And in the end. I respected his decision.

And i remember writing a reminder to myself and others that he is an artist, and performer. So he may have something planned that will shock and satisfy us all.

I even said that, although i disagree. I forgive him for his comments about mike brown.

But I hadn't written about the shock thst i felt once i heard Big Boi from Outkast is also agreed to perform. Disappoint, betrade, bamboozled, are all understatements. Fooled would be a more appropriate word.

After all those years of talking crap about the police, not liking police and being in the game and claiming to be real, and doing so for so long and with so much support from the people you now betray.

Big Boi points out that his new album talks about issues such as police brutality and relationships. - Big Boi's interview for his then upcoming album, Boomiverse

Brah?

But gladys, you make me sick. Not only are you performing that anthem but you also chose to criticize the man who's leading the charge against police violence?

And not to him during a private conversation. But to the media?
I'm far more digusted and dissapointed in you because you went through worse times with the police than us younger ones have. Through your struggles for equality you have earned the to have a voice that should be heard in these matters. But no one nomatter how much good they have done or how long they've fought for a cause has no right to cause discord at such a crucial time. A time for unity and retraint and more sacrifice.

But instead. You express your love for an anthem that has systematically slaughterd, enslaved and discriminated against a people who you yourself are apart of. You would rather 'bring back' an anthem than show a unitied front with your people?

What or who was it that brought you to suck a pass. Or is it your old age that has betrade you?

So tell me. When did we loose you ms. Knight?

"He's a sellout. He was corrupt from the jump. He knew what he was doing from the offset. His goal was to sell us out, and he did that."
-Eric Reid on Malcolm Jenkins

Y'all know what my guy is talkin about by now. But why would my guy speak so harsh about a fellow player, protester, and brother? For those of you who don't know by now now. Let me break it down real easy like.

In a nutshell.

All the players who were protesting the anthem met with all the owners of each teams. In that meeting Eric Reid says one of the owners said they can do wonders for minority neighborhoods with the amount of resources they have. But for these resources to be released, the protests have to stop. And the owners also required a 'figure head' who will tout the success of the new deal.

Eric and other players said no to the deal because they would not be able to take a knee. But Malcolm Jenkins and other players took the deal and nolonger kneeled during the anthem.

Eric, Kaepernick, and other players would have taken the deal. But they did not want theirs and other players right to protest be taken away.

In closing for the kaepernick 4:

I myself like and agree wholeheartedly with this statement made by a staff writer for variety.

"Appearing at the Super Bowl amounts to an endorsement of the NFL’s policies and its treatment toward Kaepernick in particular."
-Jem Aswad, variety.com

But to me. One line sums up everything about performing at the 53rd. Superbowl. And it comes from Uncle Murda's '2018, Wrap Up'.

"Performin' for the Super Bowl knowin the situation."

Brian (Waterhead Bo) Bennett

Brian (Waterhead Bo) Bennett So who was the biggest black kingpin of all time? Just how do you measure that? Money, volume of dope, power, cultural impact? Perhaps it was Frank Matthews… you can learn more about him in my documentary “The Frank Matthews Story” link. But in terms of documented transactions that we know about for sure, who was convicted in court: One man stands alone. Brian “Waterhead Bo” Bennett. Bennett and his Colombian Partner, Mario Villabona, were eventually convicted of moving nearly l5 thousand kilos that they talked about on certain wiretaps between December of 1987 and November of 1988. Some of the loads were as large as 1000 kilos and cheaper than $9,000 dollars each wholesale. That’s 1500 keys a month for nearly a year. And that’s just on the wiretapped phones. Who knows how much he really sold in total. Claims are made about this one and that one selling more, but 15,000 keys sold for sure is the most we know about for any black dealer. Waterhead B

49ers cheerleader kneels again during anthem before 'Monday Night Football' On Nov. 1, a San Francisco 49ers cheerleader  took a knee during the national anthem ahead of the team’s Thursday night matchup with the Oakland Raiders. She was later  identified as Kayla Morris  of Antioch, California,  a second-year member  of the 49ers’ Gold Rush cheer squad. Morris declined to discuss protest Both Morris and the 49ers  declined media requests  to discuss her kneeling after the Thursday night game, and some wondered if the act of protest would cost Morris her spot on the team. It did not. On Monday, the 49ers had a second consecutive prime time matchup on “Monday Night Football”,  a loss to the New York Giants . Morris back on the field, kneels again Morris was on the field with her Gold Rush teammates prior to the game. For the second straight game, she took a knee during the national anthem. Colin Kaepernick’s Jersey Is Among The NFL’s Top Sellers

Colin Kaepernick’s Jersey Is Among The NFL’s Top Sellers Even though colin has been out of the league for years, his #7 san fran Jersey is still among the most sold amoung nfl players. Colin Kaepernick is still dealing with being blackballed by NFL owners and general managers, but at least he continues to get love from some from fans. 20 free agent quarterbacks have been signed ahead of him during the offseason, and even the blind can see that it’s a direct result of the stance he took when he refused to stand during the national anthem to protest against police brutality and systemic racism in America. The quarterback who threw for 2,241 yards and 16 touchdowns last year while starting 12 games has only been able to secure one workout with the Seattle Seahawks, despite being a few seasons removed from starting in the Super Bowl. But his fans are showing their support. Among last months best-selling jerseys released by the NFL Shop, Kaepernick ranked 17th ahead of quarterbac

Adam Silver Thinks A Rule Will Make Players Stand For The Anthem

Adam Silver Thinks A Rule Will Make Players Stand For The Anthem The rise of player protests against racial injustice has presented a problem for money-driven league commissioners and owners. An age of enlightenment, social activism and unified awareness concerning police brutality and racial inequality is flourishing in pro sports and motivating Black athletes to finally understand the magnitude of their power and use it to challenge the outdated and oppressive status quo and form of financial and psychological control that has been prevalent in pro sports.   Since Colin Kaepernick took a knee and even before that with the Black Live Matter Movement and players expressing their social and political views on traditional sports platforms such as The ESPYs, the game has changed and league execs and owners are scrambling to find a way to regain control of the minds and bodies of their players. Montana Malik Baronette

Montana Malik Baronette This 21-year old has been called the “Number one trigger-puller” by Baltimore city police and was only recently arrested and charged with a 2014 murder. However, police suspect that he is linked to hundreds of violent crimes and more than a dozen homicides as an alleged member of the notorious Baltimore street gang the “Black Guerilla Family”. Nothing makes a killer more infamous than a memorable nickname, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a more memorable name than “Number One Trigger Puller”.  Baronette is currently awaiting trial on the West Baltimore murder of 23-year-old Alfonso Williams.
