Repost from @call_me_ak using @RepostRegramApp - This is the only thing I need to point out when any idiot tries to tell me that certain guns and accessories need to be outlawed and that we need to disarm. 26 years ago Hardworking Korean-Americans and Korean immigrants in Koreatown LA became the target of the most costly and damaging riot in US history.
Over 40% of the 1 billion dollars of damage was disproportionately directed at this minority community. Over 2,300 Korea owned businesses were looted or put to the torch. Koreans were hung out to dry when the LAPD cordoned off the riot so it wouldn't bleed over to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills and left the Korean Community to fend for itself. They used their close community, cultural ties, and the 2nd Amendment to form their own armed patrols that would rush to aid any storeowner who was in danger of being overrun. The media unfairly portrayed the Koreans as roving vigilante death squads, and the LAPD tried to disarm them after all the violence calmed down.
My people will never be helpless victims again.
