Box Office: 'Black Panther' Tops $680M As 'Rampage' Nears $300M

Dwayne Johnson’s Rampage held up well in its second weekend, earning $21 million for a mere 41% drop. It jumped 82% on Saturday, meaning this one is playing big with the kids. Now that doesn’t mean it won’t get its butt kicked next weekend by Avengers: Infinity War, but it does mean that the video game adaptation has an outside shot of (relatively speaking) beingJumanji to Infinity War’s Last Jedi. The film has now earned $66.6m (Hail, Satan!) domestic in its first ten days, making it (by default) the sixth-biggest video game movie ever in unadjusted domestic earnings. It may end up with the silver medal.
