Diamond and Silk deny they were paid by Trump campaign despite evidence to the contrary

Viral Trump-supporting sisters Diamond and Silk on Thursday repeatedly denied they were paid by the Trump campaign despite records from the Federal Election Commission that suggest the opposite is true.

According to a November 2016 receipt filed with the FEC, the Trump campaign paid them $1,274.94 for “field consulting.”

“We are familiar with that particular lie, we can see that you do look at fake news,” Silk said, claiming the funds were instead a reimbursement for airline tickets.

“We’ve never been paid by the Trump campaign,” Diamond repeated.
