It might have been the happiest conclusion to a police chase ever.
Two suspects smiled for the camera in a group photo with the officers who caught them after being arrested on drug and other charges in Florida on Thursday.
Matthew White and Amber Taynor, who had been sought by the Volusia County Sheriff's Office for several months, were spotted in a stolen vehicle near I-95. They fled in their vehicle, leading officers on a chase through Daytona Beach and Holly Hill. However, their vehicle hit a set of stop sticks deployed by a deputy.
The couple "bailed out and ran," according to the sheriff's office, but were taken into custody without incident.
Video of the arrest shows the officers' elation after catching the suspects.
"We’re getting a photo with you guys, just so you know," a deputy can be heard telling them. “So look good.”
“Should we smile?” Taynor responds.
Both suspects can be seen grinning in the photo that also includes four officers. The video of the chase and the arrest posted on the sheriff's Facebook page has been shared more than 12,000 times.
