Should Travis Scott Perform At The SuperBowl?
Dear. Travis I stopped fuckin wit cube for not punchin bill maher in the face ova that "house nigga" shit. Especially after all these years talkn allat gansta shit. I stopped fuckin wit rick ross the moment i found out the nigga C/O. I stopped fuckin wit dj khaled cause he fucks wit ross. I stopped fuckin with eminem once i realized he was white. I stopped fuckin with yeezy for the obvious reasons. Not because he supports trump. But because he allowed himself to be used. Which caused the rest of us blacks to be used...again. I stopped fuckin wit the ja, and the game for goin at my guy 50. I stopped fuckin wit wayne for saying, and i quote "racism doesn't exist." I stopped fuckin wit 21 savage once he called himself a 'hoe' (and held up that sign)! #pussywhooped And even though he's not a musician, i was honor bound to stop fuckin wit d'angelo russell for breakin...i mean obliterating, the bro code. Tbh. As a black man i do hav a problem with the kid performin. I respect people who stand up for a believe far more than i do for someone performin a song on stage. And because he's black also, i feel he has the same responsiblity to take a stand against discrimination and racism at every opportunity. I know that your not from 'he hood'. But you dont have to be. Im sure by you being black an all, that you've experienced most of the same BS the rest of us black folks have in this country. I might be sleepin on you tho trav. After all. You are an artist, a creater. You might come out rockin a kaepernick or eric reid jersey. Or you might take a knee. You might go off script and give some controversial speech or a shout out against recent injustices. Maybe i just need to chill and let you do your thing. It is a great opportunity for you. You've had a big year. When i heard Days before rodeo for the first time, i knew you had it in you. Then, astroworld dropped. And basically solidified your place among the top rapstars. 'Sicko modes' in heavy rotation on my playlist. Even so, i would like you to solidify yourself further by takin some type of stand against discrimination. I know that youve heard the 2018 Rap Up by uncle murda. I dont agree with everything he said about u or ur wife. But i did agree with the line that u will still perform at the superbowl knowing 'the situation'. I mean, even rih rih knows wat it is. I let your comments about mike brown go. Because it was an opinion i didnt take personality. But if you perform during the biggest event in america, without makin some type of statement about what kap is kneelin for; then ill have no choice but to stop fuckin with you too. We look forward to hearing from you. From: Jdr347 "I dont think Travis Scott should be pressured to not perform at this years superbowl. By a celebrity or by the activists community. Travis is a grown man. So whatever decision he makes should be made with a peace of mind. I just hope that he's prepared for the backlash that will come with whatever choice he ends up making." -jonathan donnell riley theiconiumfoundation.blogspot.com
